• Website Usage Data: When you visit this website, I collect non-identifying information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited to improve the website experience.

3. Google Analytics & Advertising Features

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Signals to help me understand how visitors engage with my site.

• Demographic Reporting: I use these features to see aggregate, non-identifying data (such as age range and general interests) of my visitors. This helps me ensure my services are reaching the right audience in Victoria, BC.

• Ads Personalization (Opt-Out): To protect your privacy as a mental health seeker, I have disabled Ads Personalization for Canada. This means I do not use your data to "remarket" to you or follow you with ads across the internet.

• Opt-Out: You can prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Use of Jane App

I use Jane App (a Canadian-based company) for scheduling, billing, and secure health records. Jane App complies with PIPA and PIPEDA. All data transferred to Jane App is encrypted. No private health records or session notes are stored on this website or shared with Google.

5. Disclosure of Information

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. I only disclose your information when:

• You have provided express consent.

• It is required to provide you with healthcare services.

• It is required by law (e.g., duty to protect, court order).

6. Security & Safeguards

I employ administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your information. This includes using encrypted platforms, secure passwords, and ensuring that any third-party tools (like Jane App) meet BC’s high standards for data residency and security.

7. Your Rights

Under PIPA, you have the right to access your personal information, request corrections, or withdraw your consent at any time.
